Induction Wizard – how to solve problems
The Neurotransformer is particularly well-suited to helping you achieve a state of deep relaxation and then playing back your own voice recordings. This allows you to gradually change your inner attitudes in the way you would like.
To support you in this, there is an induction wizard, which guides you step by step through problem-solving and, at the end, creates a finished, tailor-made session for you. It guides you as follows:
- You briefly describe a situation that stirs up feelings within you or triggers reactions that you do not want.
- Then you explore and describe the thoughts you had at that very moment. These are the trigger for your emotions and reactions and usually occur automatically and unconsciously. To change them, you must first recognise them. Fortunately, this is possible if you listen a little to your inner self.
- Once you have identified these thoughts, you will recognise which feelings or behaviours they trigger in you, and you can decide again whether you actually want them at all.
- If not, then you should now consider whether these thoughts were really appropriate in this situation and whether they are actually true and objectively accurate. Through this reflection, new, better thoughts will automatically emerge. Now write them down.
- Now you can discover what these new thoughts would trigger within you. You are now free to decide whether, in future, you want to think, feel and behave in this way in this situation.
- The new, better thoughts will now be presented to you one by one for you to repeat. You can easily record them using the built-in recorder by reading them aloud. You can repeat the recordings until you’re happy with them.
- Finally, you can decide whether your voice recordings should be added to an existing session (e.g. the example session), or whether you want to create a new session with these thoughts.
You now have a tool that can repeatedly bring you into a receptive state and allow your new thoughts to gradually sink into your subconscious. Through repetition, the old patterns will be overwritten over time, and you will automatically start to think, feel and behave in new ways. Just as you intended.
Deep relaxation or the hypnotic state (particularly with the stroboscope) help you to deeply anchor this new way of thinking.
Your own voice also helps you to accept these as your own thoughts, which is exactly what they are.
Furthermore, you can be sure that you are not being manipulated by anyone else and that you have managed, entirely on your own, to feel better and behave differently.
1. Situation
Describe the situation in which unwanted feelings or behaviour occurred.
2. Thoughts
Try to remember what thoughts were going through your mind in that situation just before the feelings or behaviour arose.
Write them down. Separate each thought with a full stop, semicolon or line break to keep them distinct.
3. Feelings
How do you feel and behave when you think like this?
4. Developing new thoughts
Each thought is now presented to you separately so that you can examine it.
- Was the thought appropriate?
- Is it correct? Is it really true?
- Do I really want to feel and behave like this?
Take a sort of bird’s-eye view, simply observing the whole situation from the outside, neutrally, without getting involved.
Exclude those thoughts that are truly and completely correct. For these, select the button is really true . This will exclude them from the rest of the process.
For all other thoughts that aren’t really true , consider what was wrong with them. From this, you’ll realise what a correct, more appropriate thought would sound like.
Formulate new thoughts in such a way that you avoid negatives: your subconscious mind cannot process them properly.
If you think: ‘I am not ugly’, it registers ‘I’, ‘ugly’ and ‘not’ and links them all together. This also results in ‘I am ugly’...
So it’s better to think ‘I look quite normal’ or, even better: ‘I radiate something beautiful’.
Only once you have reworked all your thoughts in this way can you move on.
How do these new thoughts make you feel, and how would you behave as a result?
5. Voice recordings of the new thoughts
Each new thought will now be displayed so that you simply need to read it out to record it.
Start recording with Record: A timer will first appear and as soon as Stop appears, recording will begin.
Tap Stop to end the recording, and it will be played back to you straight away. You can Save it or Discard it and record it again. also allows you to record over the existing one. You can play it back again using .
A recording is saved under the ‘Thoughts’ text, unless you give it a different title
You can only continue once all recordings have been made.
6.a Create a new session
In the final step, you can now specify how your recordings will be used and in which folder they will be saved.
To create a new session using the recordings, select the relevant option and enter a session name.
Now select a session to use as a template and to be copied. The selection is limited to sessions that have a voice generator.
If you now complete the wizard by clicking , the new session will be created and loaded immediately. It will now have your new recordings in the Induction track of the voice generator and will play them as configured in the props.
Under Settings→Induction Wizards you can find your wizards again, go through all the steps once more and, if necessary, make improvements.
6.b Add to a session
You can also add your recordings to an existing session.
This is also possible retrospectively via Settings→Induction Wizards by going through once again from start to finish and then selecting the relevant option.
